Partnership Announcement | August 24, 2026
NCOGA YAY is proud to partner with Infinite Vision through the Restore Ghana initiative, connecting young Ghanaians at home and across the diaspora to efforts advancing responsible mining and the protection of Ghana's land, water bodies, and natural resources.
Using technology and data, Restore Ghana is working to better understand mining areas and land degradation while supporting more sustainable practices for Ghana's future. NCOGA YAY members are welcome to explore opportunities to join and contribute to this work.

The Fisherman: Film, Storytelling & the Diaspora Experience
Event Recap | September 2026 | Quad Cinema, New York City
NCOGA YAY was invited to the first New York City screening of The Fisherman, directed by Zoey Martinson, at Quad Cinema.
Following the screening, NCOGA YAY joined a special conversation featuring Anna Agbotse of the Public Affairs Pillar, Michael Dwamena-Ansong of the Public Communications Pillar, who moderated the discussion, and Zoey Martinson, director of The Fisherman.
The conversation explored the making of the film, the stories and ideas behind it, and how its themes connect with broader diasporic experiences, identity, and community.
Health Is Wealth: Advancing the Conversation on Breast Cancer
Event Recap | September 2026 | 81st United Nations General Assembly Event
NCOGA YAY joined the Dorothy Hope Foundation (DHF) as an official supporter of the Health Is Wealth Forum, a UN81 side event focused on breast cancer and its impact on communities in Ghana and across the diaspora.
The forum brought forward conversations around the realities and available data surrounding breast cancer, persistent misinformation, and the work diaspora organizations such as DHF are undertaking to strengthen awareness and support.
For NCOGA YAY, the conversation also raised an important question: What role can young adults and youth play in supporting the fight against breast cancer?
Our participation provided an opportunity to listen, learn, continue the conversation, and consider how a younger generation of the Ghanaian diaspora can contribute to greater awareness and action.
